Monolithic Skylights: square, rectangular and circular.
Skylights are generally used in prefabricated buildings to provide overhead light and ventilation as well as to optimize the aesthetic and architectural features.
Self supporting rectangular, square and circular design skylights are made by thermoforming the polymethacrylate, polycarbonate or honeycomb polycarbonate plates.
They come in single glazed panes (simplex) or double glazed panes (duplex) and can be opal or transparent and for orders of over 10 pieces can be requested in smoke grey or brown.
Square or rectangular skylights come with galvanized bases or in pre-painted white sheet metal with standard or insulated walls. The opening frames are in aluminium.
Circular skylights can have fibreglass reinforced polyester resin double wall bases with an intermediary layer of extruded polyurethane. The opening frames are in glass reinforced plastic.
Monolithic skylights come in the standard sizes used by the main prefabrication construction companies and guarantee high resistance to mechanical stress caused by weather conditions such as snow or gale force winds.
The square and rectangular skylight opening devices can be manually or electrically operated. They can also be fitted with a fire fighting system activated by smoke and heat detectors.
